The breakfast looked tasty, with a lovely pastry, unfortunately we were in a hurry and didn't try it.

The staff were quite noisy, didn't expect that coming.

Amazing hotel, reasonably clean, savoury breakfast, fab location in which everything was done & decorated to a lovely standard. Early check-in, fantastic friendly employees. The breakfast with top quality ingredients.  

Perfect and nice location by pubs. Easy walk to Old Courthouse Gallery. Well decorated and well-equipped room with a view and fabulous short experience.

Great choice for trip. Perfectly clean venue and competent and very amiable employees. Good food, great value and a nice size room with nice extra touches, a comfortable chair, for example. The location of this hotel right in the heart 

The staff were consistently courteous and superfriendly and the location was amazing close to local bars & pubs. It was also so close to Red Screes, all the restaurants in town and the centre of Ambleside so close 

The rooms were tasteful with comfy bed, the staff was extremely friendly. I had excellent food for breakfast with sourdough bread.

Fairly clean hotel with extremely friendly staff and magnificent location near the main bars and restaurants, public transport, and pubs, restaurants and hiking all available within a very short distance. Breakfast 

The breakfast in the morning was tasty and marvellous and complete with excellent marmelade. The double room we stayed in was spotless and fashionable with a view.

Spotless units with very comfortable beds, muddy clothes and good toiletries, and the staff were super friendly. The experience was very lovely and I would stay here again.

Superb base for a long weekend, has lovely view out over the town and fells. It has perfect and fab central location and free parking if needed. Plus, this hotel is close to centre of Ambleside, 

Excellent and efficient staff, stylish double room. A hair dryer, tea/coffee, and a kettle — very useful. Marvellous service and good value.

I loved this property - nicely decorated and amazing hotel.

The room was spotless with a view, with essentials required. The location offered was great and amazing right by the lake and all the restaurants, town centre and Ambleside.

The breakfast with fruit including fresh berries and local ingredients and fresh berries was marvellous and the people were excellent there.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was weak.

Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed, and luxurious bathroom. Incredible location, savoury breakfast with a good choice of food.
